Eberhard fans out of Italy

Hi guys,
in the Italian forums there is a lot of discussion about why vintage Eberhards are not so appreciated outside of Italy.
Here collectors literally compete for the most beautiful dials, while abroad the community seems to forget a maison that made the history of chronographs and had some of the craziest watches.
What's your opinion?

Beautiful pair you have there mate! I’ve never seen one locally here in Australia, not sure if they ever reached this market.

No question that Eberhard is a niche brand in much of the world, although I consider that they made a number of important vintage models, and not just chronographs. I recall offering this one at one point at a very low price, and there was zero interest. My wife was very happy that I didn't sell it.

And some great divers as well.

Yes that's true! Scafofraf is super.
But above all I think Eberhard is fundamental for the history of chronographs:
- 1919 first wristwatch chronograph of the time,
- 1935 first double-pusher chronograph (stop-start without reset),
- 1938 first chronograph with hour counter,
- 1939 first "Rattrapante" chronograph.
No bad for a niche brand!

It took me a lot of time to find one with a UG movement 😁
