Looking back in history, ramparts would provide protection to those residing within the confines of a city or castle. Indeed, there have been many noblemen who have been grateful for the protection afforded by substantial castellated walls. The battlements of medieval castles appeared to majestically interface with the clouds above whilst keeping the inhabitants safe. Their strength has stood the test of time, with many historical structures attracting tourists who choose to admire their august appearance.

Whoa! A big-date automatic three-subdial chronograph. That got my attention.

Love the dial, case and handset. Too bad about the 1-2-5 digits - I do get it, the 125th anniversary, but would have been better had the markers all been batons. And the back has a darned sight too much writing and too many fonts.

What do we know about pricing? Didn't see it in the Fratello piece.

I don't believe it. That's nearly the exact design of my perfect chronograph. Colors too.

YES! Very nice design, for all kinds of reasons.
The color contrast has something of the early Chronomat about it...

I actually didn't realise Eberhard was still in production, I know there are some fans of the old models around these parts

That Eberhard is a winner. The big date is perfect in that position, because, unlike a small date, it allows for total legibility even with the chrono sweep second hand in its usual locked and upright position.

I'm a big proponent of the date-at-12 three-dial chronographs (also known as Datachrons/Datrons)... also a big fan of divers, so I really dig these:

... and this new arrival that practically sprang from the mind of Dennis... C-case, blue dial, modest size, gold(ish)😀:
