i am told by the seller that this dial is original to the watch. I cannot find pics of the exact dial anywhere, though I have found references with that "half moon" date hand.

Any feedback on originality appreciated. image.jpeg

Interesting that the dial is marked "T SWISS T" at the bottom when there does not appear to be any luminous material on the dial or hands.

Do you have any images of the movement?

I would have expected a cleaner movement given that the dial is nearly spotless. This disparity, compounded with the nonsensical dial marking, leaves me skeptical.

Quite an attractive dial either way though.

My doubts exactly. Can't find a similar dial and it looked too clean and new vs the rest of the piece.

T Swiss T is a big givaway that the dial was refinished...

I know...must have looked on the internet and my books for a few hours and I just could not find that dial anywhere. Then the OF confirmed that!

...furthermore, in this type of watch, should be the word "La Chaux-de-Fonds" under "Eberhard"
