I mean the front looks like new and the back looks worn and tired. I vote redial, at least something is fishy... :)

I also believe the dial front was refurbished.
Here are 3 2913 dial backs. The first 2 are used, one from an earlier Ebay listing and and one from an OF member, clearly show the last 2 digits of dial part number as ZJ. THE ebay dial, shown 3rd, appears to be so worn that the Z is now a 7 and the J is barely legible. Seller is still claiming dial is NOS.

Looks like somebody mastered the fonts pretty good. Hard to say, the front / back discrepancy would ring alarm bells as well. The stamping would not concern me. But the re dialers notch at 9 o'clock would. Could be Mr. Soni' froms work from the UK ...... kind regards. Achim

From https://omegaforums.net/threads/sm300-dial-what-is-this.36482/page-2#post-418408 @kox shows an original example that has the same 9 oclock notch.

The dial looks original to me. I think the state of the back is due to (a) a weak stamping of the part number and (b) corrosion (which also affected the hour markers on the front).

Is the lume recessed? I've been through each picture, only in 1 out of 9 is there any indication that it might be... It could well be the lighting, but given the angles the photos are taken at I'd expect it to be more obvious.

To me, the dial back looks like it has been stored in an environment that produces acidic vapour, like a wooden drawer over a number of years and has not been disturbed. Alternatively, this patina could be replicated by someone who knows what they are doing.

Although not an expert, that was my thinking too-wrapped in tissue or an acid based paper (most bleached paper has an acid content) and stored in a non-ideal humid environment (like a damp basement drawer).
