Today I was scrolling ebay auctions like I do on regular basis. Then I came across a lot of new and vintage omega up for auction with no price reserve.
Vintage speedys, speedy tuesday, ultraman and so on,.

They all come from the same seller named "salter49craft" located Ca, US (profile shows UK)
A lot of good feedback. 1249 past 12 months.

Anyone heard about this seller?
Or this very strange sales tactic?
(Ref. Picture nr. 2)

Some screenshots, do a search for the seller on ebay.

Many of the postings are now removed. Big red flag with the sheer volume of items posted with little consistency across photos/descriptions.

These are common lately and they always have that pawn page demanding direct contact & payment. I report them as trying to go outside eBay- which is the legitimate complaint.
These make me sad as they tend to go after long term sellers with great feedback who clearly took years building their business- commonly selling household goods, clothing or craft goods. An entire reputation wiped out.

Exactly, profile since 2004. Only positive feedback.
Who would except it to be scam based on that.

Is it really that easy to hack an ebay account, or did he press a link he should'nt have?

I don’t know how it happens, but I’m sure eBay does- they just don’t warn their sellers.

Yup. Same scam scheme telling bidders to go the an external site to buy. I reported a few instances too.

Just don't understand why eBay can't filter them out.

My credit card companies have automated systems in place to flag transactions that are out of the ordinary for me. I don’t understand how eBay hasn’t put something similar in place where a seller that is knows for selling children’s clothing is suddenly listing 30 $$$$ watches, guitars, cameras...I would think it would send up a red flag
