This seller has a lot of listings for various brands and many of them say serviced. He even gives the caliber but in most cases do not show the movement. Has anyone dealt with him?
Any chance of a link at all? You know, to save me trying to figure out what country, what eBay site etc etc
What? The first five out of six that I clicked did show the movements! https://www.ebay.com/sch/watchpdf/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&rt=nc&_dmd=2Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
You are right. It seems what I said only applies to the watches that interest me. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Omega-Seamaster-cal-284- RARE/163284103628?hash=item26047db1cc:g:EhoAAOSwleNbVL6N https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Gi...230720?hash=item520c830280:g:MbsAAOSwFuZbL8M9Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Om...176199?hash=item5d8197edc7:g:I6QAAOSwhUtbXMeMPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Looking at the dial of the Girard Perregaux, it appears there might have been water ingress near the crown. If that is the case then the movement probably has corrosion.
I was interested in a couple watches that seller has listed (this forum saved me from an incorrect purchase) - he was really responsive and nice - but the watches had been over polished and a couple little incorrect things ... all original parts otherwise though?
