I saw this Railmaster on Ebay, any thoughts?

It has a 135.004 case back and caliber 286 so it's a later model but it has broad arrow hands which I thought would only appear on the early CK2914's.

The sellers description is also confusing. It refers to a plain caseback and military strap while the photos show a hippocampus back and 7912 bracelet.

    Legit or quit? :)

Not true really. You ( and I) want to hear from the higher echelon Railmaster Bosses. Deciphering early broad arrow Railmaster, Seamaster, Speedmaster and Ranchero hands is not easy.

The arrow hands were only use for the earlier ck2914. In fact, the later ck2914-4 onwards should have alpha hour hands and though transitional ones existed but shouldn't touch 135.004

Absolute stunner. Excited to see what it goes for. Depressed that you all found the listing.

    Happy bidding!

Agree... (if you say dauphine instead of alpha ;-)
Anyway IMO, the hour hand itselves is a correct BA 2914 hand, but have a look at the minute hand and the lume area. It does not match an early 2914 minute hand. It's for the late 2914/early 135.004 hand-sets, the dauphine set. The ebay one left and my 2914-3 right. And correct full dauphine hand-set below.

And besides the paint on the second hand, you can also see that the lume on the hour hand doesn't match minute hand lume and markers (in the dial only picture in the listing).

So yes, prepped for sale  ...

Yeah it's a stunner no matter hands are on it....notice the luminous arrows...they look recessed like the current new retro Seamaster 300MC. Is this correct, or am I seeing things?
