Name on the eBay account is Mike Broster Clock and Watch, Macclesfield. Never heard of him. To be honest, I wouldn’t risk it as cheap servicing is sometimes cheap for a reason. I would personally stick to more reputable independents but if anyone here has had experience of them I am happy to listen. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Read the advert again. Do you really believe that person's name is Mike Broster? I seriously doubt there's a Paul there either.

@Gurn perhaps you should contact Brosters to make sure the ad on eBay belongs to them and is legit ... also note the lack of info on testimonials :cautious:

It may be cheap, but remember the old saying "you get what you pay for".

Interesting that they show a manual wind chronograph. 80 UKP is very cheap for a simple 3 hand time only watch (so cheap I would certainly question the quality of the work based on many watches I've received after those kind of services) and 80 UKP for a manual wind chronograph is dunk and swish territory...
