Whoever this was completely blew it.... Described this Speedy Professional as an automatic and looks like people didn't take the time to look at the pictures, therefore it sold for the price of a Speedy Reduced! Why can't I find all of them like this. Looks like an honest watch with a 1039 bracelet to boot https://www.ebay.com/itm/262431194539Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
My money is a new case on that. No wear and sharp edges. Doesn't match. Paging Dr Frankenstein Looks like parts value, on the other hand a great start for a white dial mod , after servicing the movement. Nice tall tach bezel, and bracelet though. Damn wish I saw this. That bezel would be a great spare for my 76. Then source a white or panda dial...
That watch sold twice. Not really sure what happened the first time but I had bid on it and been in communication with the seller. I missed that it was re-listed. According to the seller he had purchased it new and "everything was original" - that and a crayon drawing of a diploma have about the same validity. Omega 1 Owner Speedmaster Automatic Chronograph Watch 145022-69-ST Clasp 1039 See original listing Item condition: Pre-owned “Vintage watch running great” Ended: May 11, 2016 , 1:16PM Winning bid: US $1,525. Am I the only one who realizes this item ended early and was not sold through eBay?
Bad dial, bad case, odd hands, OK bezel, but DN90. Needs a full service, but that won't bring back the case, nor the dial. I am a big fan trying to find the hidden gem, but this is so not one of them.
