The condition leaves a bit to be desired, especially the lume loss on the dial. It looks like it is still going to hit a healthy number though.

What surprises me most is that OmegaRolex hasn't shown up waxing poetic about it being the greatest, life-changing watch ever made.

Higher than I thought it would go already. Shame about the dial. And is one of those ends home made?

Crazy price. Most of the pieces I remember went for half of that and were in double better condition.

Anyway, I still love my golden Grail:

Is that the lighting or is the watch gold?

    It's a 'normal' 376.0822.

The first owner, from whom I bought the watch, loved golden watches and so had this one gilded at the jeweler right after the purchase.

Maybe this watch is one of a kind.

And after having owned and sold maybe ten Holy Grails over the years, this is the reason I still have this one.

Well, I have a NOS spare case and bracelet, just in case the 376.0822 will reach astronomic prices in the future. ;)

Correct me if I am wrong, but this one does seem to have the correct hands, which are pretty much unobtanium. The lume that is there looks really nice. Too bad much of it is missing.

Apart from the bezel and the 'modified' end piece, this watch looks as it should. At least if you believe it shouldn't be better than this.

Personally the biggest drawbacks on this particular watch are the lume loss on the dial, the incorrect bezel, the incorrect end link, and just overall it seems that this watch was not really cared for.

Hard to believe nowadays I sold this one for 4.5k in 2010:

    Even papers were included...
