Since my quest for nice Constellation began last week, I stumble into these 2 ebay listings that frighten me as a newbie in eBay world.

The first listing is from poo-dee ( http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/20089308...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_3140wt_1139Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network ) who other member AJDay get in fishy transaction. (which I hope you can resolve)

and second one from co_sorapee (http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/29086059...DX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649#ht_821wt_1139Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network) which not yet ending but if you check his history only sell jacket and if you click to his other seller items the watch disappear from the list. I try to contact him twice without reply and decided not to proceed.

I suspect this is a hijacked account situation, where a hacker use innocent account to con people.

Can you guys share your experience on how to distinguish this type of listings? What would be the best protection against this kind of fraud?

    Thank you.

Looks like you are doing a pretty good job your self.

Looking at a sellers complete feedback picture as you have done is a really good way of sniffing out possible trouble. Offers that seen to good to be true are also another red flag.

One thing I can't stress enough is when paying by PayPal, ALWAYS use a credit card. If something does go wrong you will have the extra backing of your credit card company in any complaint resolution.
