Can I get critique on this...http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-VINTAGE-FULL-SIZE-GENTS-OMEGA-SEAMASTER-WATCH-BLACK-DIAL-NEWLY-SERVICED-/290764778640?pt=UK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item43b2ee6c90 Thanks for your critique I know...it's been completely re-done. Is that all bad? If it is please don't ban me from the forum
Ick. I hate when the SWISS MADE is above the minute second track when it's not supposed to be. Beat me to the punchline, eh?
Good to know the Long Hands Squad is diligently seeking offenders/re-doers of the way Omega originally intended. Keep up the good work. I'll try my best to do mine
How about this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Rar...990656716?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item1c2b9ae8ccPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Watch history seems well documented. Opinions of condition & price range encouraged & welcomed. Couldn't help myself, it just caught my attention
It's good to be with this forum. My untrained eye did not fall prey to the glitz & glitter of the unscrupulous or unaware ebay seller.
Can I get opinion on this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/320986877832?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network One thing I did notice is the double T. Where's the lume on the dial? Thanks
That whole watch is suspect. Not sure if dauphine hands were supposed to come on them although that might not be out of the question. Secondly, the movement has 2 different shades of copper plating. The least of what I saw quickly is the wrong crown - it should be serrated. I'd vote pass on the grounds of frankeness.
Thank you! I knew there was something amiss with that dial but didn't study it long enough to spot that.
That watch should have "CHRONOMETER". Somebody else can give you more detail, but in general the RE versions were certain earlier models from the 50's.
