This is, IMHO, a shocking poor example. Bidding is over $3,000 with 5 days to go. Am I missing something?? Obliterated, Over Polished CB Case Replacement Hands, Crown Washed Dial Incorrect Chrono Hand, Pushers Only the bezel is nice. Yep that's bad. If it doesn't go any higher though the movement, caseback and bezel are a nice investment
I don't think I would want to wear that watch, even if it was only $3,000 or whatever it will end up going for. In the price range this will sell for, I'd rather wear a correct, good condition 145.022-69 or early 70s 145.022
I'm not convinced that's a CB mid case. All the confirmed CB cases I've seen have a larger facet on the underside of the end of the lugs, and a slim side profile. The OP case looks more like a HF case, possibly with correct pushers and incorrect caseback. Pics below show what I mean about CB case.
Either way HF or CB case, the pushers are too large to be original 105.012 pushers. These are the smaller original size from the front. Ebay watch has larger, later, pushers.
which one looks worse OP watch or this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/351682558446?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Wrong if it's a 105 but they're fine for a 145, and the serial is withing range for a 145. Regardless, I wouldn't touch it because the dial has lost the lume and part of the printing in various places.
