I sort of remember having a normal record of this. Might have been part of the Cosmos soundtrack. I still have the old Cosmos DVD set. Wish they would put it back onto one of the streaming channels.
Sagan and Druyan are interesting characters. I guess now what would be called influencers. For years I blamed Sagan for the demise of the Apollo and Manned space program. After the mars probes, I am totally onboard with such exploration which can give direct access to many.
Ironically Sagan introduced me to Astrology and some of the outlandish Velikovsky stuff. Supposedly Einstein died laughing after reading something Velikovsky wrote. The 1960s and 1970s were full of a lot of this new age apocalyptic nonsense. We went to the moon, so all of the other weird outlandish predictions must be true. Right?
Seeing the Theater marquee advertising Indiana Jones 5 made me feel like I was in some sort of weird distant future. Still waiting for Jaws 13 directed by Max Spielberg in 3D holography.
But I really do live in a mythical golden land in the far distant future -- from the perspective of some average Roman in the first century AD (Or the prior century.)
Those records have a long way yet to go ...
