The dial represents a huge proportion of the total watch value.
So rare dials will command high prices which will continue to climb as they become less obtainable.

I was shocked when I saw this listing yesterday!

 

Wish I had the money to bid on that dial.How often does a 2998 dial with some lume come up on the market.Just keep it in your safe and watch it appreciate in value as all the Speedmaster values rise.

 

I don't think it did have any lume.

 

That was a reason for me to don´t bid... But yes... maybe was even cheap!

 

EU5,000 for a no lume dial seems slightly outrageous.
