Next up is this early-serial vintage Omega Speedmaster 145.022 -69 ! 28.42M serial number indicates it was among the earliest premoon 145022 -69s produced; this one met the world on January 9th, 1970 and was delivered to Mexico according to the included Extract of the Archives. The watch is in great condition and the movement was recently overhauled. When I purchased this watch, the movement was in fairly bad condition though the rest of the watch was in cosmetically nice condition - the movement has received a thorough overhaul and cleaning, with some parts replaced. The telltale steel chrono brake that is often a hallmark of the earlier 861 movements could not be saved and was replaced with a new Delrin part; all replaced parts are genuine Omega service parts as my watchmaker has an account. Omega themselves have (clearly) not touched this watch! The chronograph of course starts, stops and resets as it should. The dial is in good condition with some lume deterioration; the lume is a lighter yellow which appears to blend into the underlying white plots where it has been exposed. I have tried to photograph this effect, but it's very difficult to notice both in photos and on the wrist. The hands are original and have maintained their original lume, with a nice creamy yellow patina. The case is in great condition, with only very minor marks from use; I think it has been polished lightly in the past. Original Dot Over 90 bezel is in good condition with some wear as shown in the photos. The crown is an original and somewhat rare MWO Type B1; the pushers I believe to have been replaced at some point. The crystal is a modern replacement. Pre-moon hippocampus caseback is lightly worn but still very visible. There is an engraving from a previous owner on the inside of the movement dust cover, but I do not believe that this has harmed the movement. I am asking $4500 for the watch on the leather NATO and Extract. (Feel free to send an offer too!) Payment via bank wire or PayPal; fully-insured express shipping is included. Feel free to search on Google for "abrod520 seller" for feedback, or don't hesitate to ask me to provide references If you are not satisfied with the watch, return it within 3 days of receipt for a full refund (less shipping). Because my watchmaker isn't very good about documentation (that being the only thing he's not amazing at!) I will personally guarantee the watch for 1 year after purchase; I will also pay for shipping both ways in CONUS (international buyers will have to pay for inbound shipping only). Thanks for looking! Editing to reflect new info that has been brought to my attention regarding the bracelet - it appears that it is an 1116 with a Holzer clasp. As it was previously included at no extra cost, I will continue to offer it as such
With all the recent sales you have going on.. What in the world do you have coming in is what I'm wondering haha.
Hah - well I picked up a Gemini IV and a 105.012, but I've also got some previously unexpected high costs coming my way later this year so I'm doing a bit of belt-tightening. Almost done though
