Hello everyone, I picked up my first Omega watch from an antique shop recently and was hoping if anyone here could help shed some light on it. Thanks to an unhealthy amount of googling, I've narrowed it down to a 1930/40s model with pontife hands. I've found many photos online of other versions of this style, but not an exact model that matches what I have. Has anyone seen a watch like this before? It runs amazingly well and I can't stop staring at the small second hand ticking away! Thanks!
This may be a cal 26.5 (http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?12&ranfft&2&2uswk&Omega_26_5_0&), from the late 1930s/early 1940s. Edit: Actually, I may be wrong about the caliber number since I seem to see something beneath the balance wheel that looks like a "3". Can you read it? I guess it could be 26.5T3
I can't really tell from this picture, unfortunately. I'll see if I can snap a better one after work. Thanks for the info!
