Does anyone have any examples of early, brushed, black dials? By early I mean the '30s or '40s, though even '50s would be useful.

I have seen a black dial ref. 2450 that appears to be fully original, but the dial shows vertical brushing, and I cannot recall having seen such a dial. No photos, unfortunately, but I am confident that the dial appears to be correct in other important respects.

This is not a period or model that I have focussed on in the past, so perhaps those more experienced may be able to shed some light on the topic.
