I have for sale a sweet, early 1950's Wittnauer chronograph with two-tone cream dial, blued-steel hands, and a 13W movement. Gently-worn, brown leather strap seen is included in the sale.

This nicely-patinated baby is 35mm with crown, 33mm without. Lug width is 17mm.

The steep bezel creates a nice wrist presence on this one, and it wears larger than the numbers would imply. The case does not appear to have ever been polished, with sharp edges. Apart from the case edge, where a ding is seen at 10 o-clock, wear is much less than expected for age.

I do invite you to look at all of the photos before buying, as they are an important part of the description.

I love the open-6's of the deco-style font in both the main dial and sub-dials, and the blued-steel hands.

The chronograph functions flawlessly, and the bar-pushers have about the most perfect feel and exactness of function of any that I've operated. Pleasing to the fingers!

Service history is unknown, and was not performed in the 2 1/2 years in my possession.

My price includes tracked domestic shipping. I would prefer a modern bank transfer or FTF cash payment, but I will also accept PayPal from established Forum members, or others who have a PP confirmed address.

Sales are final unless the watch is not as described, in which case I will refund minus shipping costs, once the watch is returned within 7 days in exactly the same shipped condition.

Please PM me here if you have questions or need additional photos.

Thank you for looking!

Congrats with the sale! Can I ask you where the strap is from, if you remember? 😀

The strap was on the watch when I bought it over two years ago, so I do not know.
