Dynamic dial

Dear All,
I like black or dark dials.
I wanted to swap the dial of my Omega Dynamic from bullseye to this blue dial that Omega told me was available.
Here my Dynamic

And this is the dial that is available

I was told to get the dial thru the local representative and I got a quote from that retailer (it took a bit of time because of Covid) but I was flabbergasted when I received the quote : 280.€ to buy the dial (not installed, mind you that's what I wanted).
I suppose the fact that it is a very old watch and that the available dials must become rare is part of the cost but still .. for Oris, for Strela and others a dial is in the region of 50 to 60.€
I found it too steep !

What do you think ?
Thank you for your attention,

At that price I would learn to like the dial currently in the watch 😁

That's pretty cheap for an Omega dial - about as cheap as Omega dials get anyway. You could try looking for the dial on the open market - part number is 064TT0842016.

This is the same price as a regular Speedmaster dial for example, but if you even look at something like a 22545000, the dial is around 430 Euro, and they go up from there...

You pays your money and you takes your choice, I think. Your current Bullseye dial is probably more collectible as is, but there is definitely a different vibe in the solid colour variants. I really like my royal blue Dynamic (avatar pic).

Either would go well with that wonderful strap, which I admired on your earlier thread! 👍

It looks like the current dial is in good shape. What would you do with the old dial then?

I'd keep or sell the current watch as is, you avoid the disassembly cost. Then find another Dynamic with a decent case that has a poor dial, (a good portion of the Ebay listings). Have a service done while they swap out the dial, and you're ahead of the game.

Keep your strap too, it's great!

Thank you gents for your comments !
Surprised by the information given by Archer .. cost is normal .. I looked at the open market, but most are ugly or not detailed enough regarding fit-out to my watch ..
To follow the advise to sell the watch and find another is much much too much trouble ! I will learn to like the dial I have now ..😀 as suggested by Janice &Fred .. actually I dont dislike it, it is just that I like dark dials better !
Thank you !
