    Happy Holidays Everyone,

I recently ordered a Nato strap through my AD for my DSOTM and it finally arrived yesterday after a week. I was there last night to have the strap switch out. Truthfully, I was not too thrill with the look. It looks bloated and chunky on my wrist if that makes any sense. It took away the sleak and stealthy look of the DSOTM that I love. In all fairness, the straps was very well made, extremely comfortable to wear. It does command lots of attention from everyone passing by. I'm still contemplating of keeping the strap, I have on hold still for the next 48 hours just in case I change my mind. Has anyone have exprience with these straps? Please share your thoughts.

Personally, not a fan of that look. I like the original strap. A black leather (maybe with red stitching?) might look nice.

Omega's NATO straps are fantastic. I have the new-ref 3570.50 and the black NATO that it came with was super high quality. I was very curious what the red stripe NATO would look like with the DSOTM, and I'm happy that you posted photos. I actually don't think it looks bad at all, even though I love the original strap. That said, the red in the strap is a bit bold, perhaps too bold for the very sleek DSOTM.

Have you considered this one? http://www.omegawatches.com/accessories/accessories/nato-straps/031ZSZ002041 The Boutique could order it for you if they don't have it in stock. It might be a better pairing with the DSOTM.

I personally think the stock DSOTM strap is a perfect complement for the watch. If they'll let you return the NATO I'd take advantage of their generosity ;)

How much does Omega charge for those straps?

Good thing with NATOs is they could get wet, are more secure than regular straps and if they get narly just toss them and get another.

They look really smart - I have no idea how much they cost though.

The price on the Nato is higher than it should be, but not as much as you'd think....

I can't remember the actual , MSRP, but that was my initial reaction....I think ~ $300....but it comes with the buckle.

All the same, if it has no value to you it is worthless....

It's funny, the classic speedy on the grey/black one I love....this one...no so much..

Maybe the more subtle red edged one for me, or all black...but this one, I respectfully vote Nay...

As well as the buckle some of the other hard wear has omega branding - $300 is certainly steep but I think I would consider it to complete the look.

The Boutique was kind enough to let me decline my order. They even said that they are ordering some more straps with different design and color combinations and will let me try them on to see which look best. The price they quoted me was $ 170.00

I'm sorry but in my opinion $170 is way too much for a NATO strap.

If you have a leather lined NATO from Omega, my experience with the 45th is that it does look bloated. I ve had the same experience with good quality leather NATOs. Just too thick and out scale the watch.

I don't mind the look, but NATO straps don't look as nice on thicker cares. Not to me anyway.

Is that strap made for a 22mm. It seems squished up which may be a reason why it does not look as nice.
