DSOTM Sedna Black...Good deal or future warning?

Last month I came across this deal at an Omega boutique in Manchester UK. I’d always wanted to own a high end watch but wasn’t intending on purchasing one in the near future however, after some research I decided I had to take advantage of the price drop and ended up buying it.
At the time I was estatic in getting the watch for that price however, now I’m getting a little paranoid as to why an Omega boutique would discount a watch that much? As a newbie to this world I’d appreciate any feedback or better still... reassurance lol. View attachment 685279

Thanks Standy....whatever the reason is, I still love the watch! Anyways I bought it to wear for a long term and not to sell in the short term

Good on you and enjoy your watch.

So just think of it as the gold one that was a few hundred/thousand more than the non gold that didn’t sell as quick, so a few years later they have discounted it
( as there is no money for OB or ADs in storing watches )

FYI, the ad you posted is from Beaverbrooks. That is not an Omega Boutique, it’s an authorized dealer. Doubt an OB would give that size discount, but not surprised an AD would do so to shift inventory.

Are your scared it might drop in value even more?
Worried you bought an unpopular watch that will depreciate at a higher rate relative to other watches.
If you love the watch , end value should not matter.
Wear and enjoy.

Nothing to worry about, less demanded models often get discounted substantially.
