Dropped my Milgauss!! - sapphire replacement advice

    If this happens to someone's watch again, and it will, I would advise hacking the mechanism immediately, just like is seen on the OPs photos. Tiny parts of sapphire can go inside the works, and can really damage the watch.
    OP, there was no damage to the dial from the shards of crystal, or did they replace the dial also?

    Rolex replaced the dial/hands and crystal, and conducted a full service also.

    Watch is as good as new! :)

    ouch, definitely hurts to see those photos but the rcs should take care of you. hey these things happen... at least you know its an easy fix.

    Thankfully was covered by insurance! Only had to pay £100 excess.

    Actual cost was just shy of 2K....

    Good for you! Glad it was covered by your insurance and it is back to its former glory :)
