Just watched this Longines Chronograph end on eBay.
Somebody made a good deal at €1.000? I do not know.
The hands are two different color, no real good pictures of the movement, possible redial and polished case.
Could anyone with the knowledge confirm any of these? And did I miss something?

Looks like a franken to me. Hands too short.
Case looks chrome plated, with no evidence it's a Longines case- and very suspicious lack of shot of the inside case back.
I don't know anything about those chronographs but the brushed finish of the case back with the engraved numbers don't feel like Longines to me.
And the dial looks repainted (as evidenced by the white paint creeping up on the edges of the numerals).
So in all, the value was for the movement.

Yes that is the watch. Why do you suspect a chrome plating? I guess the case should be stainless steel.
    - Too few detailed pictures indeed!
-I see the numerals now looking very unconfi with all the white paint crawling onto them...

Also the add does not mention which movement is inside.

Good point, I hadn't even paid attention to the movement and it's not a 30CH (which one would expect with a 1950s styled chronograph) or a 13ZN, or even a 12.68 stop second flyback movement.
The bridge is a different color and looks like it was added on, so one is led to wonder whether the watch is a complete fake...and it was probably wrong to say the value was for the movement.
But again I really ought to refrain from commenting as I really don't know enough.

I am in no position to tell as well. Did some light research, and I did not find a movement that from Longines, that matches up to this one.
    - I hope the thread attracts some who has a bit more knowledge in the gun ;)

Longines never used Valjoux 22 Movements.

Sorry - forgot they used the 22GH, the 15" version - mostly monopushers, during the 30ties, seldom...
The common Valjoux 22 has 14"

Some more: Longines Chrono-movements are very well finished: f.i. beveled and polished levers:
Monopusher Longines chrono, equipped with a Valjoux 15" aka V22GH, early 30ties

The signature on the movement/chrono bridge should look like shown above. Btw: the minute-recording jumper mounted in the fake-watch does not belong to a V22 nor to a V22GH.

    Good spotting @minutenrohr !
I clearly see the difference between details put into finishing. The Longines valjoux V22GH is truly stunning!
Thank you for you expertise
