Mido had a long-lasting relationship with Hermès, and they featured on many of their print ads for watches.

In the early 1970s, my Mom bought my Dad a watch from the Hermès flagship store in Paris, which she occasionally visited since it was located close to where she worked. And I am now the proud custodian of that Mido Hermès MultiStar, which still has its original bracelet.

Incidentally, my Mom also bought herself a couple of watches there at some point, both from Eterna, including one custom-mounted on a solid silver bracelet which she asked me to sell a few years ago.

While it was a legitimate French watch manufacturer in its own right, UTI was also the French importer for a number of Swiss manufactures. That's how some watches from Breitling, Blancpain or Lemania were sold in France with double branding on their dial.

I modestly own a dual-branded Lemania stopwatch, which I guess is eligible for this thread.

Not technically qualified (no retailer signature), but cool! ^ Haven't seen that combination before.

A few, from Erik Larsson’s store in the lake resort town of Rattvik Sweden to India, via Britain and Constantinople.

Those were not custom mounted, I saw at least two on Ebay and found them extremely tempting. The bracelets are a very classic silver Hermes bracelet, it was a watch retailed by Hermes in partnership with Eterna including one of its best and smallest automatic movements made for the Eterna Sahida.
As in many instance where I convinced myself to be fiscally responsible, I still have a tinge of regret about having been reasonable.

By "custom-mounted" I didn't mean to imply that this watch was unique. Indeed, that watch-bracelet combination was offered by Hermès for a short while and I too spotted a couple for sale over the years. And one is currently being offered on Chrono24. But the way it was made retained the original watch case lugs that were simply crimped inside the U-shaped silver links. In that sense, it is my belief that Eterna simply provided catalogue models of their ladies models, and that Hermès did the integration in-house.

On a personal note, I was kind of surprised when my Mom asked me to sell hers, but she never wore it as she usually preferred having a simple quartz Swatch that she found more legible and less flashy

Hello everyone. My grandfather was Seraphim Gregorio Milopoulos. Owner of Joyeria Milos in Havana Cuba! My grandfather Seraphim was the Greek Ambassador to Cuba! Milos means "apples" in Greek hence the name and a shortened version of Milopoulos our surname. My grandfather, grandmother Nirva Milopoulos mother Urania and Uncle Gregory all left Cuba during the initial freedom flights before the Castro regime took over. Here are the images I've got of his store front. We would be endlessly appreciative of any information anyone can yield for us about personal experiences. Ill get photos of my grand father later if possible.

This one has the retailer name G W Beall, Lindsay, Ontario, the dial marked American Waltham Watch Co., and the movement marked Canadian Railway Time Service. The watch is from circa 1903, and is a 17-jewel Crescent Street grade. So, triple marked?
