The best?! Gosh, that's really sayin' something, Miki! My offering is a Chronomètre circa 1946 that was acquired three years ago, and is still in the 'shop' for rg balance staff replacement. I've been told the job is almost done, so it should be back home soon. Not all that long ago, one of the guys I shoot pool with came to our Wednesday 3-ball tournament with this on his wrist: Circa '68 Seamaster DeVille, gold-capped, presumably a cal 752, and totally original; Doug was at Tiffany's in NY when his Dad purchased it. The box and papers didn't survive, and the buckle was lost, too. Still, a very nice piece, in my humble opinion. Art
Here's a cropped image highlighting the Omega / Tiffany script: Yup, it's the crown jewel of my vintage Omega collection - even if the crown isn't original!
I'll try to remember that, Steve, as they're burying me with Black Connie on my left wrist and the Chronomètre on my right ;-) . . .
