··Vintage Omega AficionadoActually, upon further review, I'd say that your bezel is from the early '90s. The tachymeter font is the key. It's short/squat not the tall variety. That changed ~1990. If you look at page 3 in the watchuseek thread you'll see pics illustrating the two fonts. I disagree with MSN as far as the 68 transitional all being made with a dot over 90 bezel. In that thread there is a '68 transitional single family watch with the dot next to 90 bezel that has clearly been on the watch for some time. There are examples of '68s with both types of sweep second hand (pointed vs squared off) and both types of bezel.
Disagree on the transitional watch bezel. If you see in your picture the bezel is clearly not centered so that in itself is strong evidence it is not original to the watch.
