I’ve continued my ridiculous purchasing of old skindivers and I guess I’ll have to let this one go for now.
Dorset was the in-house brand for Montgomery Ward catalogs and department stores. This one is 37mm, manual wind movement works perfectly with a solid power reserve and keeps good time. Lug width is 17.5mm or so (just under 18mm)

The case is also in excellent shape without any major scratches, and the bidirectional bezel turns without any issues but is also not loose.

And... look at that tritium lume! It’s original, even though it looks like an excellent relume or modern “faux-tina” release.

The strap is not included (it’s not an actual Tropic anyway).

Asking $310 shipped in the US (international please add $10). I can accept a return within 3 days as long as it’s in the same condition as it was sent, but buyer will have to pay return shipping. Please consider the photos to be part of the description. Thanks!

Up! Open to offers. Going to pretty much put any proceeds into servicing a couple other skindivers I have that aren't running.

In case anyone is wondering about the movement.
It is a UT 29C (or Seiko 6602B)
UTC or UT (Universal Time Corp) was established by Seiko to sell bare movements
stem mechanism without setting-lever spring
Seiko-Diafix combined settings for escapement wheel

Date around mid to late 60's I think.

Still available, learned that multi-watch-lots aren't allowed now (sorry!) + price reduced to $310
