Working as a medical doctor, lately I was intrigued by the 2018 CK2998 iteration with pulsometer as a potentially useful tool for work. This lead me to research further and find this interesting watch: https://www.doplr-watch.com/en/ https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/doplr-pulse-watch-intro I'm quite tempted to buy one, although it seems a bit expensive. It also features a respometer, which is cool! Anyone own one of these?
Didn't know the Doplr, but have you had a look at this? The Longines Asthmometer-Pulsometer Chronograph - produced for a short while in 2013, I think.
I bought it used off a French dealer on Chrono24, Les Montres Collector, a couple of years ago. They pop up from time to time, but you may have to hunt a bit for one.
lots of stuff out there.... with lots of different price points:https://omegaforums.net/threads/medical-watches.60120/page-2 http://www.sgallen.com/download/g-catalog10.pdf here's mine (old picture) that does pretty much what the doplr does.
yes it's a pen...bolt action and with a glass breaker at top end and a small fold out blade too....kind of a tactical fidget tool. I don't use it much anymore so yours if you want it. No idea how much ink left. more of a novelty as I am rarely in primary care situations. It does get questions from the curious but not as many as this one.
That’s why I love this place Knives in pens or credit cards aren’t allowed in Aus looks cool but. Has it got a brand name
I guess any real knife down there wouldn’t fit in a pen. Will look and see if it has any identifying markings. Or it’s a trip to the box cupboard.
@amiriqbal sorry about the thread drift...... https://www.statgeartools.com/tritac-tactical-pen/ had one of these but gave it to a buddy https://www.bokerusa.com/accessories/tactical-defense-pens/k.i.d.-cal-.50-carbon-09bo078 I use one of these more often https://www.tactileturn.com/store/titanium-slider-glider
