    And again I was the underbidder. Not a perfect watch but acceptable dial, nice case and very clean movement. Fee: 30%

    CONDITION REPORT
    At the time of cataloguing the movement is ticking "on & off" (+35 seconds / jour). Please note that the movement has not been checked for timekeeping accuracy and Artcurial will not be held responsible for any repairs should they be required. Overhaul is recommended

    Good condition
    Case in good condition, scuffs and signs of use
    Dial with patina, signs of oxidation on the periphery, especially between 4h/5h
    A scratch on the glass at 2h

    That all depends on by how much one was the underbidder by.
    I once was the overbidder (or winner) by $200. I was quite glad to have won that one...

    As I am sure you entered the auction with your maximum number lined up, you should have no regrets. The other bidder may have been able to go way higher... so feel lucky that you didn’t get sucked in a path you could have regretted later.

    Agreed. EUR 3k was my max. Incl. fee EUR 3.900. Train to Paris, lunch with @Syrte ;-), service and you end up at EUR 5k

    Underbidder in Paris was actually my second time. Last time also on a UG. It is simply not meant to be or so
