So I had a few beers...maybe more....the other night and bid on a Seamaster 120m Automatic on ebay. After looking at it over and over I'm not entirely sure it's legit. I can't tell exactly from the pics if the Omega symbol is painted on or is the legit applied metal symbol. Any help would be greatly appreciated on if you think it's real or not. If not then maybe I'll get out bid...if not then tough lesson learned. If it is legit then I'll be happy with it for sure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/26288720243...9255-0%26rvr_id%3D1184184163053&ul_noapp=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Everything I find on this model is in Japanese. However if it makes you feel better they all look the same as yours... The logo is not applied...
It is a cool looking dial which is what made me bid. If it's authentic and just for the Japanese market that's one thing but something about the fact the symbol is not applied makes it seem cheap.
Really? I know some vintage models didn't but figured that was kind of their thing now. Any idea if it were for Japanese market if it would still have the 1120 movement? I'll be staying of ebay when drinking regardless. These Omegas can get addicting.
Gorgeous watches! It seems a lot of the Speedmasters have the painted/printed logo. Looks like that 2501 may be authentic. Hands seem to be a legit option and it looks like it has the etched omega logo on the crystal. A little less freaked out.
