    The DON bezels are getting really silly prices ...........especially for a dot I can only see with my glasses on :D

    They're getting market prices, and will only go higher IMO. If you need one, you need one. ;)

    That's exactly it really, the secret is that a Speedmaster is fully functional and capable of keeping excellent time without having a small dot over the number 90 on the bezel.

    If you can live with that, Omega sells new bezels cheaply. If you can't, you do what I just did and pay 500 for a clean DON vintage bezel.

    You would think that there would be an assured market for some enterprising person to tool up for a high-quality reproduction DON bezel at a sensible price.

    Trouble is if someone ever does a good job of it, we probably won't know he's been doing it until a few hundred at least are in circulation.

    I bought 2 DON's last year for significantly less than that so thats why I'm surprised at the price increase, guess I was lucky ;)
