....Sellers are not entirely honest... Me, "Can you tell me if there is any wear through to the gold on the lugs as the pictures are a bit blurred and I can´t be certain." Seller, "No, it´s just light reflections" This just arrived Not 1 but 3 lugs totally wasted!
This is one of the rare instances where I would leave negative feedback. Even by current eBay standards, that is horrible.
You should be able to request a refund as the item is not as described but it is still a pain in the ass...sorry to hear...
It's going to be going back to Germany tomorrow, the seller said that it looks like that as it is old.... I couldn't be bothered to vent my rage on him, that's what feedbacks for, right? I've got another "blurred photo BIN special" on its way from France, here's hoping that one turns out a little better....
Sometimes the blurred photos work in your favour and sometimes you get bitten. I think I'm even at the moment, numerically, but fortunately, both of the lucky punts have been on higher value pieces and both of the unlucky ones have been on cheap ones (positives £2,400, negatives £500 with a potential profit of £3,000 if I knew what "sell a watch" meant)
Note to myself: ...........buying blurry pictures watch in eBay involve risk.......... Hope your French experience is better then this Germany sleazy seller........
