Does this strap make me look fat?

After seeing a pic of an alligator strap with red details from Combat straps, I had one made and it arrived. I’m thinking it’s too much with the busyness of the fleigher. I think a non Chrono could pull off. Anyway, I’m bored and looking for opinions.

That stitching looks like it came off a ball of twine.

The stitching looks roughly done. IMHO the white stitching is to much of a contrast against the dark brown. I'm digging the IWC

Roughly done stitching is actually my preference, it’s easy to discern hand made and not machine. Bespoke suits are the same. I agree about the coloring though, the brown will end up on a blue face.

Screw it, I’m going to put this on and see what it looks like. I was being lazy.

Slapped it on and set the watch. I didn’t think it I liked it but I’m impressed with it on the wrist.

The 1st 2 photos, next to the chocolate strap, I wasn't so sure but fitted to the watch in natural light looks great. I'd definitely stick with it. Red stitches bring out the red running (?) hand at 9 o'clock just right, and the grey and black in the croc leather go well with the black dial and SS case. Silver stitching smart too, would have been too much contrast if white.

I was surprised but it seems to come together pretty nicely once on your wrist.

Ya @Bushido and @queriver it does work nicely. On the table upon opening I thought it was bordering on hideous. I’m actually going to leave it on there, I’m happy with it.

    It's OK.
It will look even better when the stitches lose some brightness.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but the strap looks decent on the wrist. Stitching details mirror the dial nicely.

I think it looks nice fitted, but still much prefer the first pic with the brown leather.

    Whoooo I can’t let you say that !! :)

I am making strap .. and I think hand made stitching can be better than the one you post ... just my opinion. I am not professional but it seems that your strap are coming from a professional strap maker and based on the stitching quality, I would expect more I guess. First wrong tool used for pre hole and too thick stitching for the brown one.
I don’t want to compare or sent me flowers but I prefer my non professional stitching :). How much did you pay if you don’t mind me asking ?

I agree it isn’t very good, but for some reason I like slight imperfections. I’m just not sold on the color and hide combo I chose.

3 hand stitched I just grabbed out of the box with diff makers, this one is the least clean, but again, I’m ok with that part.
