Just bought this on eBay for my wife and it looks to be in good shape. The seller states that it is from the 2000's. There is no branding on the dial other than "Omega" and the word "automatic." Also the caliber is unknown. Does Omega make a ladies watch that looks like this? I can't find an example anywhere. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Its hard to say without a movement picture. Although I dont recall ever seen that model (nor am I looking for woman watches ) I'm digging the lyre shaped lugs and the hefty solid link bracelet. I have not seen this caseback emblem before, its possible something like this came out in the 80's. Or 90s but Im not sure. If I were you I'd have it opened by a local watchmaker to make sure its the real deal.
@jlunn55 My guess is it's real, though I also cannot identify which model this is. Let me do some searching around. The bracelet is the biggest authenticity giveaway for me. Edit: found this, but can't translate it on my phone. Perhaps it will offer more info. Crown looks like a replacement on the one you bought. http://creaf.jp/account/000678.html
To me it looks all original. I have a 9K Gold one that my mother acquired at some point and I have no reason to doubt its authenticity. I don't think there is much of a market for fake ladies Omegas (especially given there is limited market for original ladies Omegas) so I vote original, and if it were a men's size I'd be very tempted myself as I quite like the design!
Thank you everyone! All great info--i'll take a look at the movement too, but i'm feeling good about it!
