I am thinking of having a bid on this, I don't own a Constellation yet but I don't know if the case ref matches the case. Omega forum shows it as SS not capped

Ref 14381 is for a cal 551 NO date.

The dial has been refinished as well, cross-hairs much to heavy.

I notice 2 things: everything that can be seen by just opening the back is upside down, so you can't see the normally visible side (can't see ser. or calibre #). And all the plates and bridges in this pic look approximately the same color, on the watch there are at least 3 distinct colors to my eye. Just my 2 cents worth.

And shouldn't have "Officially Certified" on the dial.

These ref. 14381s came in dome dial, like above and pie pan dials like this one. But both types should have printing like this...sans "officially Certified" for future reference (pun intended).

This is the Ebay link, it still has over two days to run and is presently at £365, does it need reporting, if so how do you report it, is it done through the Forum

    What's to report?

It's just a crap watch but genuine Omega.

I've seen hundreds (and there have probably been thousands) on eBay, that's why we encourage our members to consult here before making a decision.

Thanks, I am new to the forum, I have messaged the seller on Ebay, just don't know enough to recognise what is good and what is crap yet

No problems, always ask here if you need advice.

The only ones we bother to report are obvious fakes or bad frankens where people could get burnt.

    Education starts here.

Now sit down and take notes ;)

As Jim has already said nothing to repert...it is an Omega, just an over polished, badly redialed turd!
