Not sure if anyone here has taken their case back off the new model already to have a look inside.

If Omega aren't using Delrin anymore and have moved back to using steel like in the past, does it mean that if you send in a 1861 for service they'll also swap the brake in that to steel too?

 

Steel in the 3861, for all versions that I can see. This would have nothing to do with the 1861, so I doubt they would upgrade those...
