Does Omega OB have a say in stock/inventory?

Curious on how the Omega OB stocks his watches. Does he place an order or is Omega controlling and deciding what stock they should have?

What I have been told by our local Rolex OB is they have to report every sale so that Rolex is aware what is in there inventory and then Rolex sends stock as they choose. He says it wasn't this way before, but its been this way the past few years once Rolex became a hot seller.

While not speaking to Omega specifically, Federico offered this perspective in a recent video

When I talk with my OB, it seems like they have a say on what they get to a pretty large extent with the exception being Snoopy and 321. If something isn’t in stock, they can order it and I won’t be waiting months on end. I’m not too sure about other LE or LP watches though. If I wanted a Sedna or Canopus gold 3861, I could put down a deposit and have one without too much of a wait.

OB have some sort of connection to inventory staff at Switzerland, and can also get some pieces from other OB from different parts of the world. That is how I got some of my watches which were rare but outdated, not so hot, not chased-by-the-crowd references.

For the hotter items, I heard that they have to fight as well .
