I started a thread earlier about a Vulcan/LeJour chronograph I purchased today that confused the hell out of me, but everyone seems just as confused as I am, since no one replied. One thing specifically that has me puzzled is this logo above Vulcain on the dial. Does anyone recognize this logo? It is nothing I have ever seen on a Vulcain dial before. I speculate it maybe the logo for " La Forge " but I'm not certain.
I with you on the La Forge brand. It seems La Forge (or Laforge) was an in house label of Macys. So your Vulcain with the la Forge mark is a little bit like an Omega with Meister or Turler markings. Only my thoughts, not gospel.
That's what I was thinking. In 2009 Harlequins wore an HIV awareness shirt with a similar logo http://www.classicrugbyshirts.com/2...ty-rugby-union-shirt-adults-medium-4396-p.asp
Not sure if I want to know more... I do understand what you mean (as I guess our spouces are about the same age) but that is really lost in translation - and I have always wanted to write - you dirty, dirty old man, to you...
Found some photos on google of a couple of LeJour watches with that little blair witch project looking logo. Could this be LeJour's logo? This is driving me nuts! Lejour is a french watch company yet Vulcain is Swiss, but dial is marked France? What a mystery !
I have a side business of disposing safely of cursed watches. I normally charge quite a bit for this service but, for a fellow OF member, I'll take care of your problem watch for you as a favor. I'll send you a PM with my shipping address and specific instructions on how to nullify the curse for shipping.
