I would like a vintage seiko and this one looks fine to me. Description is typical, and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with the seller. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-S...074727?hash=item4b10a94067:g:M6YAAOSw4DJYh-Y0Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Never seen those hands before, the 6138 is an amazing and very underrated movement. His feedback looks OK for a private selller, I'd go for it
They look original to me. Here is mine. Never serviced and no parts ever changed. The OPs hands are in better condition, probably never exposed to the Australian sun like mine have been.
No, but it was given to me by the original owner who got it as a gift, he wasn't a "watch type" and wore it infrequently before it went to the sock drawer, only to be pulled out and presented to me when we were discussing hobbies one day and I mentioned watches. It was a very generous gesture on his part.
It did not had a buy it now price and 3 days left and somehow someone managed to snatch it. I really liked it
If I see something I really like on eBay, I have no reservations about sending the seller a question that contains an offer. The worst that can happen is that they say "no". Negotiations went something like this: gatorcpa
Ok I lost that watch because someone made an offer the seller cannot refuse but i am still looking. I know plenty of members love seiko so i am going to ask for your opinion again. The 6309 - 7040 is described as working, all original with a letter from a watch repair shop . The dial appears original , with the Suwa dial and lume. It also has the text “Japan 6309-704L T”.The 6 o'clock maker is clearly above the writing. The bezel appears original except the colour , caseback i think has the corect markings and the movement is unknown to me. The seller wants 550 USD but i think he will take less. Thank you
