Saw this in a vintage shop. I have never seen it before. Any idea what it is (model, year, price)

 

Unfortunately it is not an Omega. I would try to return it.

 

I have my doubts that it's even an Omega. But please, please, wait for some others that are much more knowledgeable. I have put my foot in my mouth too many times.

 

Looks like a Franken watch. Caseback from non-Omega watch (I have the same guy/script on a Lucerne of mine).

It is absolutely not an Omega. It is a (probably cheap) diver's watch that's had the dial repainted and the word Omega added. I hope you didn't give much for it.

 

Thanks all! I actually saw it and did not buy. They are going to call me tomm with what year it's from because they didn't know. That should be a real hoot!
