I need some help: Someone propose me this watch (without box and paper) and I would like to know if it’s a real one… I can’t find this model on the web.

It looks like Seamaster model from 80's. Could you open the case back and see the reference stamped there?

 

Thank you for your answer. No I can't open the case back (the seller lives far from me)..
He told be that he bought this watch in 1970.. I did some research and I found some wiht the same case but they all have a black dial..

Probably dial variation or some country dial model, which is pretty common since OVD is not complete. Others may have more accurate judgement.

Yes it looks like a lot this model.
The R at the end of seamaster seem also to be different, can it be important?

 

The letters look different because the dial has been repainted - and poorly, I might add.

 

bad luck.. It looked interesting and it was propose at a good price.. :-(
What seem strange is that the seller is not in an "exotic" country and told me he had this watch for a long time..or maybe he completly lies.

 

Mystery of missing 120 solved. I don't know how much is the offer price, but better to pass on and find better example.

No ...don't buy it. You will have later regret. I have done mine several times.

This price sounded cheaper than what I usually see that’s why I was in doubt..

One more question how do you see this dial is repaint?

 

No 'swiss made' , The font letter looks different, the hour paint markers are low quality: uneven and some is not aligned with minute marker
