Does anyone know if these are replacement hands or just rare?

The watch is an Omega Seamaster ref. 14704 cal. 591 sc-3! I just haven’t seen open hands, they are slotted and completely see through!

So how does the lume exactly float in the middle?
Surface tension when it's applied and then it dries there.

It is an art form and takes great patience and practice (neither of which I have)- not to mention getting color matching down as the colors dry down. I have purchased several watches with trashed lume on the hands (dial lume I am always a stickler about) and have had them matched to near perfection or existing lume stabilized and filled. It makes all the difference on the appearance of a watch IMO.
