Does anyone have personal experiences with affordable deployment clasps?

    Hey guys,

Out of paranoia for protecting my Speedy, I'm thinking about putting deployment clasps on all of my straps.

I've browsed around eBay and Amazon for sub-$30 clasps, but I wanted to check here to see if anyone has personal favorites.

P.S. I love the Omega clasps, but I can't afford to shell out $800 on a few clasps for my straps, as much as I would like to! My money is tied up in the Speedy itself.

    Thanks in advance!

Hadley Roma makes very good deployant clasps for <US$50. Several styles & sizes, many sellers on eBay and elsewhere.

This is a huge help, guys. Thank you! I'll probably buy two of the Hadley Roma's or two of Bob's clasps. They both look great!

+1 for Bob, al also have one from wholesaleoutlet990 o eBay. Less quality than Bob, also less price. They actually sent one that was faulty and then send me another one that works well, is comfortable to wear and looks good, but If it is for continuous wear (I only use this one on occasion with toss straps for beach and sports) I'd go for Bob's or Hadley.

Oh, and common mistake that I used to make too. it is DEPLOYANT, not Deployment...unless it's on a Navy Seals wrist, then it's both .;)

RHD - Bob - This is a plus, and given his price point my next one will be from him.

I offer a lifetime warranty with a straight out, simple replacement policy on all stainless steel RHD deployant clasps. Should any RHD deployant clasp fail to function properly, I'll replace it at no charge.

I found a source of Omega style bands and deployants (for PO's, Speedy's etc) from overseas, arrived today so I'll be picking them up from UPS.

Like many, I really don't like bracelets and prefer my Omegas on straps / deployants. But can't find myself to spend the dough on pricy OEM

Do you like to name the source you've found?

Not until I can vouch for the product. Who knows what you can get from China

Another +1 for Bob's/RHDs. The best part is they heep straps looking newer longer than a tang buckle and they work with all tang buckle straps.

I've never had a watch with a double fold clasp. Any benefits?

OK they're in. Looks like really good quality, but unfortunately they are knock-offs with Omega logos (not disclosed to me at the time of purchase). I'm not comfortable referring KO straps/deployants to anyone regardless of quality, esp here in the Omega forum.

I'll send them a message and ask them if they have the exact same stuff without the Omega logos, that would be legit and very interesting..

Yes, it's double the fun when you're bored or nervous and need to fidget with it
