Asking out of curiosity, as I woke up from a nightmare where someone on these forums caught wind of me not owning an Omega and bad things happened. I used to own a Seamaster but sold it quite some time ago to fund something else... Now I feel like I have impostor syndrome. Time to fix this... I suppose. .
Bad things? Was lubrication not involved? Pick up a nice Speedy or Constellation, and these bad dreams will end. My invoice is in the mail...
I didn't own an Omega when I first joined this forum but that was 4 1/2 years ago and it has been all downhill since then.
I don't even own one and I get that vibe just from looking at pictures! Once I get my copy of MWO back, the hunt begins (again, after a nice little military watch detour).
there's a thread around here where several members have expressed that owning a Speedmaster have brought them joy, happiness, health and all sort of good things to their daily life.... @OmegaRolex , what you say? perhaps the Speedy is also good for controlling nightmares? Check it out here
That article should have been published in the 80's and/or 90's. What an old-fashioned way of coverage, bleh The poor brands that are mentioned can't help it neither.....
this place is infection, i had one omega, just bought another and third is on my mind already. it came from a vintage omega seamaster hunt but its such a mind field. glad that ebay thing is finally resolving and my refund is pending
This is a situation you need to remedy forthwith. I have a nice Seamaster 166.0209 that should be back from the watchmaker in a week or two that might just fit the bill ....
I don't own an Omega, the Omega owns me. She is more life-partner. I sing to her, read bedtime stories and speak with her in restaurants. She speaks softly but with faultless cadence.
I did... The Longines guys here got me hooked though, they're the only vintage pieces in the watch box now.
