I have a vintage Seamaster 300 date model that has an incorrect redial. I knew this when I bought it back in 2001, but was hoping to locate a correct dial with hands. Now I am thinking of just have the watch redialed.

Does anyone redial in the US now days?

I had my dad's 1938 Hamilton Sutton dial refinished about 12 years ago by them. Pleased with the job on what was a very damaged dial.

I have yet to see a decent redial of these. If the redialer doesn’t have a printing plate for the model, it is likely to be expensive.

You’re probably better off getting a service dial and matching hands. I’ve also seen them be relumed to give a more vintage vibe.
