Does anybody recognise this Seamaster 600 because I cant find another like it??

    Can't find another like it. was purchased in the UK in the 1960's!! But cannot find another like it in the catalog's

    That's kosher. :thumbsup: The cross hair dial is less common on that model but IIRC it's an official variant.

    That's a pretty nice watch that would really look great with a new crystal or at least a crystal polish. Is it yours or one you're thinking of buying?

    It was my fathers he wore it all through military service, then it disappeared for years. got given to me in a box of stuff!!

    I knew it was legit just difficult to nail down a price on this one as they're not common

    The dial won't raise the value very much. Are you selling it or simply looking for the value?

    I consider this model (SM600 with the Cal601) to be the most pleasing of Omega's offerings in the 1960s and if I had that particular one I'd not part with it, emotional attachment or not.

    Hahaha - good answer. Unfortunately, what it would fetch in the current unserviced and raw condition might not be higher than any heirloom / sentimental value.

    It doesn't. It's a very nice example of a not particularly sought-after model. I'd keep it.
