Is this normal price for a 3 reg chrono from this maker or is it something special about this model I don't know ?
In my book this was a bit steep

Yeah, but old Madame Baubles doesn't have to sell the bracelet. In the description box it states:

Band Type: No Band

And yeah, I'd pay a couple of bucks for the band but $7,000?

 

I have been in discussion on these at least twice ... sorely tempted but the price was high and I passed and they were gone shortly thereafter. Don’t know why they command a premium.

 

no movement shot or description either. Which movement is it most likely?

 

I would have thought a valjoux 72, but maybe the watch is too early for that... Very nice condition, though the price seems hard to understand

 

Prices on the ones I was discussing were in the 4500 - 6000 range and they were snapped up.

 

Price is high, but watch has a very clean dial and a maybe unpolished case, not so easy to find.
It's a very clean example probably untouched.
Could be a Valjoux 71

 

Im obviously totally out of touch with this brand, would have guessed an old chrono was 1-1,5 k or something in that range but maybe the movement or the case or both have special interest that I'm not able to see

 

The dials were much more ornate.
