Does 1861 manual movement contain any silicon part or it's pure metal movement?

I was just reading in some other thread whether using silicon or other synthetic material in a mechanical watch movement is good or bad for a quality watch. This made me wonder if Omega 1861 manual movement is also using something like that or not. It must be discussed here sometime but I feel a quick reply here from Archer or other competent authority on subject would be much easier way. Please oblige me Sir. Regards

I'm not a watch expert by any means. I do have an 1863 movement (3572.50) made for the display case back. Aside from a polished finish compared to the 1861 I believe there is one piece, a brake, that is plastic in the 1861 but polished metal in the 1863. My understanding is that it is a more reliable part functionally as a plastic piece, but the decision was made to replace it with the polished metal for appearance sake in the presentation 1863.

In @1973 the changed a part to delrin plastic on all 861 movements and also continued with the 1861. It's the brake on the chronograph, hence the name delrin brake. Most watches from Omega with a see through caseback switch it back to metal.

My Lemania powered Sinn 903 from the mid 1990's with the same movement and a see through back has the delrin brake as well as my 145.022-76

I followed advice of fellow member and googled about delrin brake and found an interesting thread at the rolexforum. I'm taking liberty of reproducing the link here for my friends who may like to read that.
