I'm not sure if it is just a poor seller with bad photography or if the watch is dodgy. Its a late 1980s or early 1990s watch, could be he replaced the box but it looks fine to me. Agree though that the seller is very much out of his element.
Bad photos as stated, watch does not look fake. As this one may need a good service, a lot will depend on price.
